When the exported Revit model was opened in IES VE, we noticed that the full height windows and lightshelf did not properly translate -- the window above the lightshelf became a wall. The full height windows that did not have a lightshelf translated properly into IES.
In an attempt to fix this problem, we revisited the Revit model and, within Revit, we broke apart the single window element at the lightshelf into two window elements. We then reexported the model to IES. However, this change yielded the same results.
